Braden checks off another “little boy” milestone…
Braden has checked off another “must do” on his list of “things to do before I’m 10″ as he completed the “get stitches” task in fine form yesterday. Kids trip and fall all the time, but this time while playing with the kids that were here for our BBQ yesterday he managed to catch the corner of the coffee table and ended up with a deep gash in the middle of his forehead. After a frustrating foray to Queensway Urgent Care we ended up at St. Joe’s to get the gash sowed up–and 8 stitches later we were home. Braden was fantastic during the whole ordeal. He was obviously a little shocked and scared with the amount of blood that gushed forth, but once it clotted up he was fine and was really curious about the whole process. He’s now telling everyone that his stitches are magic as they will be “disappearing all by themselves in 5 days”…
Thanks to everyone for their help! We hope you had a great time at the BBQ and it was nice to come back home and still have the party going on. We wasted no time jumping back into the fun…
SURPRISE!! Happy 35th Anniversary!
The Warnell & St. Amour cousin’s pulled off another surprise bash for our parents this past weekend (15 years after the last one) to celebrate their upcoming 35th Wedding Anniversary. As you will see from the photos we had a ton of fun!!
Thanks again to everyone that made it out for the celebration…and special thanks to Pat, Ernie and Dad who unknowingly helped us plan and execute the party as they thought it was for Mom’s milestone birthday {we’re soooo devious!}
